Aaron began in 2002 with a focus on producing powerful, age-worthy wines from the rugged hillsides of westside Paso Robles. Always seeking to veer from the norm, we found inspiration in creating blends that centered around one of California's greatest grapes — Petite Sirah. Utilizing vineyards from the most amazing sites our boots could find, we source intense yet balanced fruit from the Willow Creek, Adelaida, and Templeton Gap districts. From these sites we coax this massively structured varietal (along with Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot) into a portfolio of unique cuvées that evoke our best expression of westside Paso Robles terroir.
The flagship wine that started it all, and continues to be our benchmark. Always a blend of our richest, most structured barrels of Petite Sirah from our westside Paso Robles vineyards, in addition to a small amount of Syrah.
View WineTrespasser is always a blend of our spiciest Petite Sirahs, along with the more savory Mourvèdre and Syrah that are fermented with a high amounts of whole clusters. In general, Trespasser is the spiciest & softest of our blends each year.
View WineBorn out of our love of Grenache, Sand & Stone showcases the vibrant nature of this variety along with power and structure of Petite Sirah. Of all of our cuvees, it is always the freshest and juiciest, with striking aromatics.
View WineCitizen showcases how complimentary Petite Sirah and Syrah are together. Petite brings power, rich fruit, and bright acid, while Syrah brings mid palate, savory nuance and length. Citizen is almost always our most powerful wine in its youth.
View WineA no-holds-barred cuvée of Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah that brings a whole new direction to the Rhone/Bordeaux blend.
